Soil Revitalization

Long-term soil health and permanent seeding work that carries a commercial site or a new residential lawn from final grading to lasting turf establishment.

Overview

A site that greens up for the first inspection isn't the same as one that's actually stabilized for the long term. Soil revitalization is about what happens beneath the seed: amending depleted or compacted subsoil, correcting fertility, and selecting a permanent seed blend that will hold up for years, not weeks.

We select seed varieties suited to your site's sun exposure, slope and soil, and apply at rates that support long-term turf or ground cover establishment through final acceptance and beyond.

Prime provides soil revitalization throughout Charlotte, Concord, Kannapolis, Mooresville and Salisbury and surrounding North and South Carolina markets.

What's Included

Permanent Seeding

Site-specific seed and mulch blends engineered for long-term establishment and final stabilization sign-off.

Soil Amendment & Fertilization

Correcting compacted, depleted or poor-quality subsoil so seed and turf have what they need to establish and last.

How It Works

  1. 1

    Soil & Site Review

We assess soil condition, slope and sun exposure to identify amendment needs and select the right seed blend.

  2. 2

    Final Grading Coordination

Application is scheduled to follow final grading and any topsoil placement. If final grading isn't done yet, we can handle that ourselves before seeding.

  3. 3

    Permanent Application

Amended soil, seed, mulch and fertilizer engineered for long-term turf establishment are applied.

  4. 4

    Establishment Support

We're available for spot reseeding if germination is uneven.

Why It Matters

  • Seed blends selected for long-term establishment, not just quick green-up
  • Soil amendment and fertilization to correct compacted or depleted subsoil
  • Supports final inspection sign-off and site acceptance
  • Consistent results across phased or multi-lot developments

Ideal For

  • Home builders
  • Homeowners
  • Developers

Common Questions

Soil Revitalization FAQs

Standard hydroseeding focuses on getting cover established quickly. Soil revitalization looks at what's underneath first: amending compacted or depleted subsoil, correcting fertility, and selecting a permanent seed blend built to hold up for years rather than just pass an initial inspection.
